Testimonials

I can tell you all about how I coach, but only the people I’ve coached can explain what it’s like to be coached by me.

Looking back at our sessions, you’ve provided me with tremendous insights into many aspects that I couldn’t connect before.

I had somewhat lost my way, carried away by my own expectations and those of others. Guided by “how things should be,” driven by reason rather than intuition.
I now understand that I thrive on working with substance, striving to improve every day. Following my intuition brings me much closer to my core, radiating that authenticity to others, consequently attracting things effortlessly.

Now I start each workday with renewed energy, finding joy in what I can contribute, and deriving satisfaction from my work.

Early on, you wished for me that I wouldn’t have to struggle anymore and that things would become easier in my work. Mission accomplished, I would say!! 🙂 Thank you so much for your support, Marger! I wish many others the discovery of your talents!

Marger’s warmth, openness, creativity and sense of humour shine through in his coaching. With his use of relatable and funny stories and refreshing ‘outside the box’ methods, his sessions effortlessly flow in fun and interesting directions, often leading to key insights and uncovering hidden beliefs that keep you from getting where you want to be.

With Marger’s guidance, I was able to make a significant breakthrough on a long-standing challenge I was facing.
Together we created a method for overcoming the problem and dissolving the frustration and anxiety I was feeling around it, making achieveing my goal easy and enjoyable. I’m confident I can apply the personalised method again and again to any area of life where I am feeling stuck. This has had and will no doubt continue to have a lasting ripple effect.

The methods of self help I was attempting to use prior to coaching had left me feeling overwhelmed and confused. Marger’s ability to see the bigger picture and shed light on areas I wasn’t previously able to see meant that I not only found solutions to problems, but the shift in perspective helped me to develop more compassion and forgiveness for myself and release some of my perfectionist tendencies that were keeping me stuck. I am continuing to build momentum in the direction of my goals and I’m enjoying the process.

Marger is an excellent, reliable Coach and I would trust him to support me through any challenge I was facing.

If you are considering coaching with Marger, take the leap! You won’t regret it!

I went into the coaching right after an event that was very stressful for me, and I chose to request coaching on the internal conflict it had left me with. Marger listened with attention and with genuine interest in what I had experienced and what was going through my head, and took care to help me clarify those parts that I initially had difficulty expressing. I felt seen and understood, and so found it easy to open my heart to the related personal stories he shared in turn, and to the insights he had learned from them.
Marger’s approach to giving advice was gentle, he never interrupted when he saw that I was processing what had been said, he allowed time for me to ask questions and follow the trains of thought that were important to me, offered empathy when I was emotionally stuck, and so he helped me shift perspective and make new connections at my own speed, with lasting effects. Any change takes time, new neural pathways that are consistently reliable are not built overnight, but the coaching call with Marger remains one of my strongest memories to help me learn that I am not in fact responsible for everyone’s emotions but my own, and do not have to baby those who consistently overstep my boundaries.

With Marger’s help, the guilt I felt for prioritizing my own health and wellbeing is now gone, and that is quite the relief indeed. I recommend Marger’s coaching especially to those who feel that they would benefit from talking with a warm, compassionate and insightful man with a delightful sense of mischief and a penchant for taking little leaps of humorous yet creative genius.

Marger based the coaching hour on my personality and my unique challenges, and not his agenda. This is what an effective coach does, and I can speak from experience because I’m a coach too.

Marger created the space for me to talk about what was of immediate concern to me: marketing my business as a coach and enrolling paying clients. I really appreciated that he didn’t fit me into a structure, as many coaches do, which usually leaves me feeling very frustrated and disappointed, no matter how popular or successful the coach might be.
He also didn’t take the lazy way out of constantly asking me questions so that I led the conversation from start to finish. This is another huge mistake that most coaches make, again, no matter how externally successful they might seem.

I would recommend Marger’s coaching to anyone who wants to share their personal and/or professional challenges with someone who’s willing to listen while gently directing the conversation forward, and find concrete solutions to their situations.

I felt lighter after the coaching. The feeling of being heard and validated was a great side benefit. In our conversation I realized that I was being too harsh with myself. Marger helped me negotiate with my inner critic and I gave myself the permission to take more chances and learn from mistakes when those happened. This was freeing.

I liked Marger’s sense of humor, his ability to listen deeply and willingness to share some of his own experiences. I felt that we had enough time in a 90 minute call to really go deep, explore the issue from several perspectives and frames. Yes, I would absolutely recommend his coaching to others.

Marger coached me when I was struggling with my work-life balance. In just a couple of sessions Marger has helped me to prioritize. This has helped tremendously.

Marger is a good listener and a quick thinker. He offers suggestions and views but is not dogmatic about his ideas. This ensures that you can cover a lot of ground in a few sessions.

I would recommend Marger if you are wrestling with work-life balance issues or behavioural issues that you would like to fix. No need to let these issues linger, do yourself a favour and let Marger help you out.

I’ve been wanting to create online content to grow a following, but before Marger’s coaching, I had yet to find an approach that I’d find enjoyable. I know my interests, but I was clueless on how to take my insights and turn them into valuable content for others while maintaining the fun.

First off, Marger helped me solidify a vision which has given my work purpose. This has allowed me to tackle the necesarry tasks with motivation instead of relying on discipline, which is a much more sustainable approach and long-term solution (in my opinion).
Secondly, Marger guided me in better understanding myself. We figured out which approaches work for me and which don’t. Marger never blamed me. He always looked at the methods I was applying and came up with practical alternatives.

10/10 would leap out again!
